Editors’ Edition

The Editors’ Edition provides footnotes that explain the rationale for the content and structure of our Statement of Faith. The material here was drafted during the initial writing of the process by members of the Sovereign Grace Theology Committee, then went through a series of edits by the entire Committee with feedback from Sovereign Grace elders. While these footnotes are not part of the official Sovereign Grace Statement of Faith, they do help to explain the intentions and goals of the Statement of Faith itself. For each section and paragraph you will find footnotes with detailed descriptions of the relevant content, the logic of each part, and the general flow of thought.
